The owners of La Taqueria in Greenwich opened the new location in Darien to the public in the middle of August.
The business is located at 1077 Boston Post Road.
The eatery specializes in authentic Mexican comfort food, the owners said.
La Taqueria offers a variety of tacos, made with shrimp, beef short rib, chicken, and chorizo, along with other dishes such as quesadillas and tortilla soup.
Guests can also choose from a selection of margaritas and cocktails such as the Paloma and the "Mango Twist."
Some customers have already recommended the new Darien restaurant.
"My husband had a watermelon margarita, chicken wings and a short rib taco," Carla R., of Greenwich, said in a Yelp review. "We also ordered guacamole and chips. For dessert we had tres leches. Everything was peeeeeerfect. I can not wait to come back again. All the employees are super nice and super friendly. This is by far the best Mexican food around. I highly recommend it to everyone."
